About This Job Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening for a Software Architect / Team Lead.
The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation.
The position will have the following duties and
Responsibilities:
Lead the full stack development team and define system architecture, to deliver a Java-based Business Intelligence Suite Meet with customers and stakeholders to document the customers' requirements using customer-centric UX principles Establish a product vision and roadmap Work directly with program management and senior management to define product features and team objectives Break the work down into a prioritized product backlog Manage, hire, and train the DevSecOps team members Work with the technical teams to plan delivery schedules Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of solution Work with the technical teams to identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Help maintain implementation quality, organization, and DevSecOps toolchain Monitor project status, including risk management, and communicate this information with all stakeholders, including upper management Ensure training and system documentation for users is completed Perform other duties as assigned What's In It For You Competitive wages Medical Dental 401k Paid time off Work/life balance Career development Tuition reimbursement Mentorship opportunities Rewards & recognition Work Location Roy, Utah Travel.
